The objective of this research was to study leadership of administrators in Rajamangala Institute of Technology, Chotiwet campus, and to compare the leadership according to sex, age, educational level, working age, and administrating experience as parameters.
Populations in this research were the administrators at every level m Rajamangala Institute of Technology, Chotiwet campus. The numbers of populations were 53 peoples. These compose of 1 director, 7 assistant directors, 4 deans, 12 heads of departments, 7 heads of offices, and 30 head of sections. The instrument used in this research were questionnaires about biosocial and work background, psychological characteristics. The data was collected between June -July 2002. The 41 questionnaires were returned, which was 77.36 percents. The data was analyzed by SPSS program. The statistic u~ed mean, frequency, percentile, standard deviation, t-test, and one way ANOVA.
The results were :
1. Administrators had high psychological characteristics they were self confident, had vision, working attitude, reason of moral. But psychological health there is low.
2. Administrators had high leadership in relation between leader and follower. When compared this leadership by sex, we found that males had average relation and females had high relation. Administrators who had administrating experience less than 6 years and between 6 -10 years had high relation. Administrators who had administrating experience more than 10 years had average relation. Administrators who had working age more than 6 years had high relation. Administrators who had working age less than 6 years had average relation.
3. Administrators had high leadership in power of leader, medium quality level not see, we used educational level, working age, and administrating experience as parameters.
