Needs for Graduates from Raijamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon to work for establishment in Bangkok

Abstract

The study of needs for graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon to work for establishment in Bangkok was aimed at studying 1) needs for graduates from Rajamangala university of Technology Phra Nakhon to work for establishment 2) desirable qualifications of graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon needed by establishment and 3) casual relationship of establishment’s general information, desirable qualifications of graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon needed by establishment and needs for graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon to work for establishment in Bangkok. The questionnaires were constructed with content validity and reliability as a tool for collecting data from 306 establishment where graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon have worked for. The statistics used for analysis were frequencies distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation and structural equation model analysis: SEM. The research finding indicated that most of the establishment in the sample group were limited companies running on industrial business with a starting capital of 1-5 million baht. The 21-50 employees with diploma, vocational and high vocational education have been working there. Each shareholder of these establishment is completely Thai and the target clients are both in and out of Thailand. In most establishment there are more Bachelor's degree graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon than Master's degree's. The trend of demand for graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon to work for establishment in 2011 -2013 is the ones who graduated Bechelor's degree in Engineering faculty and Master's degree in Administration Business. In general, desirable qualifications of Bechelor's degree and Master's degree graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon were needed at high level. The establishment's general information correlated with needs for Bachelor's degree and Master's degree graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon to work for establishment at the statistical significance of 0.05%. Moreover, d irable qualifications of graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon needed by establishment correlated with needs for Bachelor's degree and Master's degree graduates from Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon to work for establishment at the statistical significance of 0.05%
