Accessories Designing from Embroiled Thread
Abstract
This study was an aim to apply lacing technique to produce yarn accessories for value
added and developing the new products. It was a survey research by questionnaires tool. The study was divided into 2 steps. The first was collected the basis data for product analyzed and appropriate design to produce the prototype products. Thai traditional design was chosen to master design prototype as kanok, naree, kacha and krabi traceries. All of these traceries are gentle and shown as the Thai design. Kanok is a thai traditional style that it was chosen for a represent design and combine together with product design and decoration trend on 2013-2014 in Formal & Sugary style. The prototype products 7 collections: necklace, earring, and brooch.
The prototype products were accepted from the sample group which they were very good
in the factors of the beautiful, technique, the utilization, and the quality of products. The
prototype had price in range 801 – 1, 300 Bath. The prototypes were adequate detail. From these results, the prototypes were response with customer and make an alternative choice to increase the household income.
