Management of Tourist Attraction : In Case of Wat Takien Floating Market , Bangkruai District, Nonthaburi Province
Abstract
The objective of this research is to study about circumstance of WatTakien Floating Market community for sustainable management and consider factors which affect to its management scheme.
The representative samples are 100 people who live in WatTakien Floating Market community, 20 entrepreneurs, a government staff, and a community leader. The devices of this research are questionary and interview. The statistics are Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation (S.D.)
The results of this research are:
1. The importance of recent community circumstance :WatTakien Floating Market community is a tourist attraction where is near Bangkok and easy to get to. Moreover, it is in the area of WatTakien which is an ancient temple and keep at naturalness.
2. The opinion about external and internal circumstance which affect to management : The strengths of WatTakien Floating Market is good location because it is in the area of WatTakien, convenient transportation, and having a canal connecting to Chao-Praya River. However, it is lack advertisement and substantial management.
3. The opinion about preventing natural disaster (flood) management scheme : Educate community members how to manage floating market effectively and lay down measures to keep naturalness of community. Support advertising floating market continuously, and improve and organize parking to adequate the number of tourists.
The aim of this research is to study of Wet Takein Floating Market Community for sustainable management. And factor analysis affect to Wet Takein Floating Market management. The sample of this research , People who live in Community of Wet Takein Floating Market are 100 person.
