Factors affecting the personal financial management of personal in Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok Area
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to study factors affecting the personal financial management of personal in Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok area. These factors were divided into 4 factors; first of them was personal factor: age, academic position, and salary, second of them was family factor: family responsibility, third of them was environmental factor in the workplace: imitation to their peer groups in office, and fourth of them was factor of social environment: the influence of the media. The samples in this research were 334 personals. The study participates selected by stratified random sampling. The Instruments used in this study were the interview and rating scale questionnaire 5 levels of 16 items, discrimination since 0.31 to 0.69 and alpha coefficient of 0.86. Percentage, mean, standard deviation, χ2 - test and stepwise multiple regression analysis were statistical method to analyze data.
The results were as follows:
1. The personal factor: age, academic position, and salary no related to the personal financial management of personal in Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok area.

Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok area, statistically significant at the level of significant 0.01 in the order correlation coefficients (rxy) descending as follows: family factor (0.556) environmental factor in the workplace (0.295) and factor of social environment (0.120)
3. The factors which could predict the personal financial management of personal in Rajamangala University of Technology in Bangkok area at the 0.01 level significant: family factor (X1) and factor of social environment (X3) with the multiple correlation coefficients (R) of 0.627 and coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.393.
