Thai style hanging garland made from din phao dan kwian

Abstract

The purposes of the research were to create Thai-style hanging garland made from Dan Kwian Din Phao (baked clay from Dan Kwian) and to investigate the participant’s satisfaction on the product. After studying and collecting the information related the title, the researcher drew 3 sketch-designs of the product which were commented by 5 experts. The chosen design was used to make the garland and determined the product satisfaction from 50 of the participants. Data were analyzed statistically by frequency, percentage and mean. And the results of the study were found as follows : 1. The B design was chosen from 5 experts, on account of the product’s utility and the improvement from expert’s comment on increasing crystal beads threading together with artificial Dok Rak. 2. For the participant’s satisfaction on the product, it was found that as a whole they satisfied in the product at the highest level with the mean value of 4.37. The product represented thai stylish pattern which they satisfied at the highest level with the mean value of 4.20. And they satisfied in the product’s priceless and utilization at high level with the mean value of 4.04.
