Personnel factors that affect the organization of learning (the discipline of learning 5) of Ragamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon
Abstract
This research has been aimed to study learning organization
levels on five learning disciplines at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon and individuals' factors affecting the five learning disciplines.
the samples were 400 Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon
lectures and staff selected by stratified random sampling. Questionnaires were
administered to collect data, which were statistically analyzed and compared using the percentage, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing by t-test and One-Way ANOVA. the statistical significance level was set at the 0.05
The result of the study indicated that the level of the learning organization (five learning disciplines) of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) in the overall as well as the individual aspect was high. the highest aspect was mental models, followed by systems thinking, and team learning, respectively.
the hypothesis testing revealed that the personnel working at the organization with different educational levels, positions and work tenure did not differ at the significance level of 0.05 in terma of RMUTP learning organiattion (five learning disciplines)
Conclusinos from the hypothesis testing yielded that personal factors including work units, deucational levels, positions, and work tenure rejected every hypothesis due to the fact that RMUTP employees, no matter differences in terms of work units, educational levels, job titles, or duration of operation, were always active to improve their work ability.
The research results also suggested that RMUTP personnel always kept on learning, improving themselves, and tracking down the information and knowledge. they were also able to transfer that through information technology stystem which could be accessed easily via various channels. strong teamwork was also an organizational culture. executives' vision had been transferred to the staff members which could be seen form the overall highly-ranked results in every aspect. they commented that the knowledge management center was effective. moreover.every work unit had organized its own work content and stored it on the websites to be easily accessible for other involving units. the universith encouraged the staff by giving rewards to any outstanding units for their best practices as this could signify as a model for other units to apply the knowledge in their respective departments for achieving continuously sustainable learning organization in the future.
