Development of a causal model of the factors influencing ethical characteristics of mass communication students based-on Thai qualifications framework for higher education
Abstract
The purposes of the study were 1) to study the ethical characteristics of mass communication students in the digital era, 2) to study factors influenced to ethical characteristics of mass communication students (MCS), 3) to analyze the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) of ethical characteristics of MCS based-on Thai qualifications framework for higher education (TQF), 4) to develop and empirically validate the causal model of the factors influenced to ethical characteristics of MCS based-on TQF. The data was collected from 16 experts and 800 simples including mass communication officers and mass communication and communication arts instructors. Data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.), stepwise multiple regression analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and part analysis. The results showed as follows:
