The Development of Industrial Teachers of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhonûs Image Promotion Model

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study present and future desirable characteristics of industrial teachers. And to devolop a role model of desirable characteristics of industrial teachers who graduate from RMUTP. The sample were administrators from vocational schools, vocational students and vocational student possessors. Multi-stage randomized population is categorized into three groups defining size from table of Krejcie and Morgan. The total number of population is 576. The instrument was a questionnaire for each sample. All data were analyzed to determine statistical results and presented in tubular form. A focus group meeting of 15 lectures from the Faculty of Industrial Education was organized.The study result showed that most sample from those three groups (administrators from vocational schools, vocational students and Vocational student possessors) highly agreed in three aspects namely personality, ethics and morality, and Professional skill aspects.The focus group committee suggested improving the curriculum and also the activities whic were both curriculum activities and teaching activities of lecturers.
