The design of wedding dress from rajawat pattern Kho Yor woven fabric with laser-cutting technique
Abstract
Research on the design of wedding dress from Rajawat pattern Koh Yor woven fabric in with laser-cutting technique has objective of design of wedding dress from Koh Yor fabric woven in Rajawat pattern, by using laser-cutting technique and study of satisfaction of consumers in Amphoe Mueang, Songkhla Province. The researcher studied by using concept from vegetable in type of vine in design of pattern and searched information on important principle of artistic design and information regarding Koh Yor woven fabric and inquired local experts, then designed and tailor made in three styles, consisting of one style of Mermaid wedding dress and two styles of Ball Gown wedding dress. The researcher surveyed about satisfaction of target groups, those are working women who lived in Amphoe Mueang, Songkhla Province, numbering 100 women. The researcher used sampling method in type of accidental sampling, analyzed information by using statistics, percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The study result found that most respondents of questionnaires, had ages from 25-30 years, engaged in occupation of self-employed, average income per month : 25,001-35,000 Baht. Most respondents had period in decision making to select wedding dress from three months to one year. The result of analyzing about satisfaction of target groups towards design of wedding dress from Koh Yor fabric woven in Rajawat pattern, in with laser-cutting technique, it was found that products of research in overview, the respondents had satisfaction in much level. The dividing of satisfaction was in two aspects, those were style of products and benefit of use. When style of wedding dress was considered, the first style which there was satisfaction in first level, was Style 1, Mermaid style wedding dress (mean : 3.87). The second level was style No.3, Ball Gown wedding dress (mean : 3.64) and style No.2, Ball Gown wedding dress (mean : 3.62), respectively.
