Parents’ Participation in the Management of Children Development Centers Prapadang District Samutprakarn Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the participation of parents in educational management in children educational development centers, Prapadang District, Samutprakarn Province 2) to compare the parents’ participation level. 3) to study the problems and suggestions of parents. The data were collected from 335 parents. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Data were processed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of research were found that 1) participation of parents were at the least level. 2) to compare the parents’ participation it was found that gender was not different, while the participation of parents with different vocation and education level found the difference 3) the problems were the parents had to work and were busy. The suggestions were PTA and should find finding volunteers for the centers.
