Enterprises' Satisfaction on the Chracteristics of Graduates in Faculty of Industrial Education at Rajamangala University of Techonlogy Pra Nakhon
Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study satisfaction level, characteristic of graduates, expectation and compare satisfaction of Enterprises to graduates in Faculty of Industrial Education at Rajamangala University of Technology Pra Nakhon. The graduates' five skills considered in this study were communication skill, learning skill, analytical skill, ethic skill and technical skill. The sample group selected by a definitely random selection consisted of 229 employer of graduates of Faculty ofIndustrial Education who graduated in B.E. 2548.
The tool used in this research was questionnaire, and the data were analyzed by percentage, means, standard error of the mean, paired-sample t-test, independent samples t-test and one-way ANOVA based on the five skills.
The research results showed that the expectation of Enterprises to graduates was high level at all skills by the average was 3.90. While the results of satisfaction of Enterprises to graduate was medium level at all skills by the average was 3.54. However, the comparative results of satisfaction showed that most skills of the satisfaction are different, but the sex of employer, type of Enterprises and size of Enterprises was significantly different at level 0.05. Except, the age of employer and type of business was not significantly different at level 0.05.
The most important reason of Enterprises to employ the graduate was knowledge and competency. The first skill that the employers need was technical skills. The second skill was personality and the third skill was favorite of institute.
