Needs Pattern and features on Internet Web Board of Bangkok Teenagers

Abstract

The Study on "Needs Patterns and Features on Internet Web Board of Bangkok Teenagers" aims to find out the needs patterns and features on internet webboard of Bangkok teenagers, and comparison of needs patterns and features on internet webboard of Bangkok teenagers by sex, age and status on webboard. The sample groups of this study are teenager of Bangkok. They are age between 15-25 years, randomly distributed each place of Bangkok for 400 persons. The sample is divided into 4 groups according to the class is a group of 15 years, a group of 16-18 years, a group of 19-22 years and a group of 23-25 years. Tools to collect data on the close-ended questionnaires. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics is the frequency and percentage. The results show that they needs resolution of 1024x768 Pixel, size 14-16 point, used standard fonts, a forum held in the middle, the same background color is white or blue, font color is black, pagination with the table, customize the fonts themselves both the post and reply, sort by latest post. The needs of webboard features show that need to register before post, rarely used pictures and sound effects, used of the Emotion Icon frequently (more than 50%), can be inserted the picture more than size 1,000 KB, to send or not send an email back equally (50.7:49.3) . If the webboard use real ID card to register to post and reply, found that most users will not reply, and then read only. The user needs a repository of unlimited forum. If given a choice between "The speed in the open" and "the many features" user to choose a simple but high-speed turn. But as a whole, most users prefer to have the many features forum to use
