The study of ethics of first-year students at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon from Bangkok and from other provinces

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study and to compare the ethics of the first-year students at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon who were from Bangkok with the ethics of the ones from other provinces. The samples chosen by purposive sampling were the first-year English for International Communication students of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. They were divided into 2 groups, and each group consisted of 30 students. The first group was from Bangkok while the second group was from other provinces. The instrument was a questionnaire. The results revealed that there was no significant difference (at the level of .05) of the ethics of the first-year students who were from Bangkok and of those from other provinces. The mean scores and standard deviations of the results of the first group were 3.82 and 0.34, and of the second group were 3.89 and 0.34 respectively.
