dc.description.abstract | The purposes of this research were to (1) investigate factors which have impacts on working-age people’s decision making to save money in Bangyai district, Nonthaburi Province (2) study working-age people’ behavior in decision making to saving money in Bangyai district, Nonthaburi Province (3) compare the importance of factors that affect to the working-age people’s decision making in saving money in Bangyai district, Nonthaburi Province.The sample of the study consists of 400 people
(ages 20-60 years old). The research instruments used for data collection were the questionnaire. The reliability data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, means, and standard deviation of t-test (Independent t-test), F-test (Independent sample F-test),
and Content Analysis. The results of the study revealed that:
The mainly respondents are female, being over 30-40 years old, having single
status, and education background in bachelor degree. Moreover, the respondents are
working as an employee of the private company, the average income per month over
10,000-20,000 baht, and family members around 3-4 people.
The respondents pointed out similar saving money to use after retirement and
deposit with banks in short term saving. The respondents will spend first, then, keep the
rest of the money to saving and they have money savings less than 10%.
The working-age people’s decision making to save money in Bangyai
district, Nonthaburi Province was at a moderate level. Two factors of decision to saving,
(1) income from savings and (2) saving characteristics were at a high level. Besides,
four factors of decision to saving (1) security (2) yield upon investment (3) incentives
for saving and (4) social and economy were at a moderate level. There was low positive statistical significant relationship between the differences of age, marital status, education level, occupation, average monthly income, family members, purposes of saving, savings schemes and factors affecting working–age people’s decision to saving at 0.05
However, the respondents who have the differences of gender, period of saving, saving method, and saving ratio focused on the factors of decision to saving at no difference. | en_US |
