Controlling work-in process technological improvements for fabric pretreatment, dyeing and finishing industry using barcode system

The objective of this research is to develop a technology management system for industrial Fabric Pretreatment, Dyeing and Finishing factory, to resolve existing problems caused by manual input. Firstly, this research was performed to study the current work-in processes data. After that these data were analyzed,ranked and grouped for designing and developing a customized oracle database by implementing SQL on a UNIX server. Finally, the new system was integrated barcode technology for connection to facilitate works. Before the renovation, to input data by an employees it makes to delay time 1,440 minutes from actual manufacturing data. The result represent at 260.67 unit/month, as well as newly application of barcode technology. According to this system application, it has been found that the manufacturing data in production process are real-time monitored. The result of the research can be increase at 94.42 unit/month as well as reduce expenses on documents above 10,000 Bath/month. In addition, the operator could also be reduce from 4 to 0. Including enhanced with barcode technology can also facilitate communication with customers, making business competitive, sustainable future.
