dc.description.abstract | The objectives of this research are to study 1) the acceptance level of information and communication technology (ICT) characters, environment supporting ICT use, lecturers' attitude in ICT use, and ICT use in teaching 2) the relation between ICT use in teaching and lecturers' characteristics and 3) the relation between ICT use in teaching of lecturers and acceptance in characteristic of ICT, environment which support ICT use, and lecturers' attitude in ICT use in teaching. Both quantitative and qualitative approaches are applied by using questionnaire and in-depth interview for data collection. The research sample is 220 lecturers from 9 faculties of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. Descriptive and inference statistics are used; percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation and mUltiple regression analysis with Enter technique. The findings are; 1.The high acceptance level in characteristics of ICT, and lecturers' attitude in ICT use in teaching aspects (x = 3.99, 3.64), low score for environment supporting ICT use (x ::::: 2.46) and medium score of ICT use in teaching of lecturers (x ::::: 3.27). 2.Lecturers' ICT use in teaching is related to 3 lecturers' characteristics. It is positively related to computer ownership and the faculty affiliated and negatively related to experience in teaching. 3.Lecturers' ICT use in teaching are related to acceptance in characteristics of ICT, environment which support ICT use, and lecturers' attitude in ICT use in teaching. 4.Recommendations to Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon in improving and development of ICT use are; (-3) 4.1 open ended questionnaire; 1) prepare sufficient leT equipments for lecturers 2) setting computers and projectors in every classroom and 3) training ICT uses application in teaching for lecturers. 4.2 in-depth interview; 1) environment supporting aspect; increase sufficient computers, equipments, computer networks and improve their efficiency, and increase budget for ICT 2) characteristic perceiving and attitude to ICT use aspect; increase knowledge in literature copy right act to lecturers, and 3) leT use in teaching aspect; training lecturers to get more knowledge and skill in ICT use, electronic media producing and information searching from websites by internet. | en_US |
