dc.description.abstract | Objectives:
The research purposes are as follows:
To study the social and economic status of the loaned and unloaned student family;
To compare the social and economic status, personal and living status of the loaned and
unloaned student;
To study the problems and other difficu!ties of the staff involving the administration of the
educational loan. To study the belief and social value of the loaned student toward the
procedure of the educationa: loan.
Procedures:
The sample population is the student from Business Administration Faculty. The
groups are separated into loaned, unloaded group, and opflration officers. The
questionnaire is used as the data collection method. For the student groups, the
questionnaire has two different versions as follows:
280 copies for the loaned students;
263 copies for the unloaned students.
The information from the four operation officers has collected through the interview
process. The statistical analysis is using percentage, mean, standard deviation, Tdistribution,
and Chi-square.
Findings:
The results are as follows:
Economic and social status of the loaned students' families and unloaned student are
significantly different at 95% level.
Personal and living status of the loaned student and unloaned student are significantly
different at 95% level.
In the loaned student opinion, there is no problem or hindrance to the procedure of loangiving at faculty level. In genera!, the procedure is fairly good (Mean= 3.35, s.d = 0.79).
Basic social value is ranged from responsibility, non-selfish, and sacrifice, respectively. In
operation officers' opinion, the most important problem is that the loaned students do not
