dc.description.abstractThe purpose of the research was to study the art educational media design for the emotional development of mentally-retarded children. The principle of visual arts was used as a design concept. High relief pottery and painting were used as the experimental tools.The development emphasized on shape, size and color learning. The results showed that the average mean of the children’s interest was at 4.02. The educational media helped improve the children’s concentration and the emotional development. Color was the easiest media to help the children’s learning. Animal shape was not too much complicated to learn. These were appropriate for mentally-disabled childrenen_US
