Development of online leave system

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to develop the online leave system for human resource management organization and to study the satisfaction of users toward the system. The system could support human resource department to manage employee information, position, department, type of leaves, right and calendar activity. The employee could take a leave, and check status and history of absence. The employers could approve and check history of absence and also see calendar activity and absence report of employees. The system facilitated human resource department, employers and employees including paper saving. Online leave system was developed with PHP, used MySQL as the database management system and designed by Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop. The sampling group, selected by purposive sampling, was 30 users. The result of this research showed that the satisfaction of users was at good level.
